Alexander Zang is shareholder of BCC Business Communications Consulting GmbH, a consultancy firm based in Frankfurt am Main which specializes in change management and strategic communications. He also is founder and Senior Advisor of Forest Carbon Group GmbH. In the past few years he has focused on corporate sustainability strategies in the energy and cleantech sectors, carbon footprinting and related issues. He’s an expert in change management and implementing sustainability into corporate decisions and procedures.
Michael leads the market intelligence and development unit at the Forest Carbon Group. He has been working with governments and public organisations, companies, communities and NGOs to design and implement sustainable land-use projects which benefit people, planet and profit. Moreover, he has been working with private companies to make the business case for environmental action especially with regard to climate change mitigation. His strength is strategic analysis, and he has always been engaged in making complex issues, such as climate change and environmental challenges, comprehensible and accessible to corporate leaders and the public. Before joining the Forest Carbon Group, he worked for the World Bank's carbon finance department and World Bank Institute in Washington, the consultancy Carbon International in Brussels, and as a newspaper and radio correspondent in the US, Europe and Asia. He is a trained journalist and holds a diploma in Economical Geography, Sociology and History.

Frederic Jacquemont has more than 12 year experience in international carbon markets, project due diligence and development, and environmental law. From 2010 until 2013 he has been living and working in Canada where he served as President of ERA Ecosystem Restoration Associates in Vancouver responsible for management, business development and organization. He is specialized in REDD project sourcing, development, funding and commercializing with a particular focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo. Before rejoining the Forest Carbon Group as Director International Business Development, Frederic worked as legal counsel in charge of project sourcing and project due diligence. He began his career as an environmental legal researcher, business consultant and legal counsel for development agencies, environmental institutions, as well as carbon offset and energy companies in Germany for which he conducted missions in Africa, China and Indonesia. Frédéric is an expert in international climate law, especially the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Kyoto Protocol, the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), and the European Emission Trading Scheme.
